So while I have yet again, with the change of work schedule, fallen off the workout wagon, I have gotten better about eating.
And monitoring what I eat (again). I have considered going back to Weight Watchers – at least online – to make sure but I think I’ll stick with MyFitnessPal at least for now (since it’s freesies!!!!)
So I’ve still been weighing myself almost every day (just for the reasons I previously mentioned…not because I get hard on myself but to monitor my progression)
Week 7
Current Weight: 142.6
Starting weight: 151.8
total loss: -9.2
(ok so I lied here but this was the starting weight the day hubs left and I posted that at 6:45a on the bus to work the other day. When I actually starting caring rather, or when I hit rock bottom I was around 155.2 which was what I started Weight Watchers and at and was just…not okay with me. Ever. So technically I’m down quite a decent amount!)
Have gotten much better with eating better portions and and healthier. Drinking more water and walking places. Need to get better about sticking to my workouts – there’s a big difference between 6a and 5a and 5a is not coming easy. The half (half #3!) is coming up this saturday and since my training has been shot to shit, I’m just looking at having a really good time with pals and having fun. It won’t be a PR I don’t think (though I certainly will try!) but it will be a lot of fun!
After that? I have a turkey trot and maybe one more race before the end of the year – so it’s the 12 I hoped for but hopefully next year. I did have some awesome PR’s and I raced with hubs and I did races I hadn’t previously done before! Annddd I had a race canceled on me. Wamp wamp.
Either way. I’ll get my head back in the game of working out – especially since I’ve been having some fun circuit workouts inspired by some really awesome bloggers I’ve been following. I’m pretty confident I can be at my new adjusted goal of 135 by the time I leave for Oklahoma in 4 weeks, and at my uber goal of 120 by my first trip out to Texas which will likely be in February.
How do you stay motivated when you find yourself losing your momentum???
Today I’m thankful for: The USPS. I know they get a lot of flack but for the past 70 something days hubs and I have written to each other every day and god bless them for delivering them. I have something to look forward to each day when I come home and it’s really made me appreciate good old fashioned letter writing.
