So last night I hit up a Weight Watchers meeting for the first time in a few weeks.
I’m so back and forth with the tracking – some days I do really great and I stick with it. Other days – usually toward the end of the week…not so much. For instance, I’m pretty sure I didn’t track the drinks I enjoyed with Liz on Saturday afternoon after work and simultaneously the 2 margaritas and cheese enchilladas I had Saturday night out at dinner – hubs and I finally used a LivingSocial deal I bought recently for a place called Broadneck Cantina & Grill off of Cape St. Claire Road.
The food itself was decent. Not the greatest Mexican food, nor the best margaritas I’ve ever had, but it was decent and I’d probably go back. The DJ was setting up as we were getting ready to go so I bet it’s a delightfully fun dive bar on the weekends. Too bad it’s not really near anything so it’s not the kind of place you could go and really enjoy yourself if you know what I mean.
Anyhow. I had been really good all week though. Hubs and I went running a couple of days last week, and played tennis one day. Then we took off Friday and Saturday, and Sunday of course we had our super intense hike (5 hours of hiking FYI, equals 22 activity points).
Today I walked for 30 minutes – my legs were still really tight from yesterday.
Tuesday: tennis or Jillian Michaels in the AM
Wedmesday: 4 mile run
Thursday: tennis
friday: 3 mile run
Saturday: off
Sunday: yoga and/or 7 mile run and the driving range
This week I weighed in at 151.4 – 3 lbs down from what I was three weeks ago at my last meeting.
Next week my goal is to be under 150 which is only two pounds. I can totally do that. I just need to make sure I get my workouts in and eat plenty of veggies. Also, next Wednesday we head back north for another U2 show and #tripnorth which should be a lot of fun but I need to be on my a game for this week! Also, I need to get better about planning my meals. Last week was lackluster at best and this week I haven’t planned anything. I need to get on that.
Do you set weekly goals for yourself? If so, how do you reward yourself?
