Because I haven’t yet gotten out of my sweatpants today, and the only real thing on my agenda is to take Ellie to the vet for her bi-annual bordatella shot that her playcare requires her to have every 6 months (over vaccination much?) and possibly go up to Bridgeport again if I can make it before 4 (and if I can find my passport/social security card) I’m putting What I’m Wearing Wednesday on hold. At least until I have good reason to get out of my sweatpants.
So instead, I’m participating in Classy in Philadelphia’s Where in the World Wednesday. The idea of WITWW is to post a picture of you someplace in the world…it doesn’t have to be somewhere foreign or tropical. Just a picture of you somewhere you consider traveling.
In 2005, despite my full-time internship, The Ex and I went to Singapore. He had lived over there with his family and so we took the opportunity to go together. It was a lovely week, I had the time of my life. I only wish that I hadn’t been so distraught with jetlag and been able to do more at night. This me looking at some flowers at a street vendor in Little India.
Next spring, Hubs and I are saving to go visit his little sister (Spring 2011) in Australia and we’re trying to fit another trip in – likely to New Zealand – but I’d love to take Hubs to Singapore or Thailand. I really hope we can swing it, we’re going to save our butts off. Now if only I could get a substitute teaching gig… that would certainly help matters while I wait on grad school. *sigh*
