I didn’t quite run the 3 miles I had planned for today but I did get an ass kicking of another kind.
I signed up for a personal trainer today.
You see, I’ve been reminiscent of my days when I would run like 6 days per week in high school during xc/skiing/track.
I miss being in shape. I miss my size 2 jeans. I miss feeling good about myself. I miss my legs. I hate that I can still here the voices of critics calling me “chubby.” I’ve never been freakin’ chubby. Until recently. *sigh* Not. Okay.
It’s my fault, I know this. But, luckily for me, I can take it all back.
So, I’m forraying into the blogosphere as a fitness blogger (fret not this blog is still going to be active too!). Taking back my fitness blog, taking back my body and damned if I don’t run two sub 5:00:00 marathons this upcoming year with a BMI back in the normal range!
Check the sidebars of the fitness blog for updates on my progress (recorded weekly) with bmi/weight/time goals/etc…, if you have a favorite fitness blog let me know!

Yay! I love to read about other people’s workouts! Especially when you have a personal trainer. I don’t, so I like to read about the advice they give you!
Good luck!
Size 2? I haven’t seen a number that small on my pants since I was in like 8th grade lol! I grew quite the set of hips as I got older and there’s nothing I can do about them hahaha
That’s awesome! I too have started to get back into shape (or attempt to). I am by no means overweight, but I definitely do not have the body that I had a year ago. So I’m trying to go back to the gym (and get reimbursed by my company for doing so!)
Good luck! As long as you feel awesome (and you should) that’s what counts!
Good luck. I’m sure you’ll get there if you are dedicated
good for you. Marathons make me want to gauge my eyes out. I’d rather join project anorexia.
Good luck!
BTW, just for motivation, there is a thing call the Antarctic marathon. http://www.icemarathon.com/
