I had a great time today at the UBS Holiday Spectacular here in Stamford and I finally busted out one of our wedding gifts (well, we bought it with wedding monies) and played around with the new digital camera. It’s not an SLR camera but it’s a step up from your average point and shoot camera. Those are some of my favorite shots, the rest can be found here.
All in all, a good weekend – yesterday we spent up in Southbury with Hubs’ family, and today we hung out with his brother at the parade and I went out to lunch with this gal and her manfriend. A satisfying weekend, tomorrow I’m going to sign up for classes, research more teaching opportunities that don’t necessarily require certification and checking out a couple gyms.
I should, in addition, get ready for our trip to Vermont on Wednesday also – begin packing, confirm puppy’s boarding, make sure laundry, etc.. is taken care of.
All in all, a good weekend ending, and a great week ahead to look forward to!

Magda and I did the winery/wreath thing and WE MISSED YOU!!!! Oh, and went to a Wii Fit party and tried wii yoga. I suck. Ha!
Have you tried any CT diners yet? Go to my favorite…Athena, in Fairfield and have the potato pancakes. Love them. On a drive to NH once, I insisted to Steve that we stop there. I don’t think he was as in love as I am, but then again, he didn’t spend four years there!
