I am not to be left alone.
After lunch with the lovely Magda in Pentagon Row, I was on a mission for one thing and one thing only. I came out…with two. Almost three. Two. I stopped at two.
The khakis, and of course, a sweater.
The Save: Both were on sale. I spent around $40-$50 and I needed the new khakis – seriously I tried on khakis from last year and apparently I’ve gained a few. I need khakis for my PT job but I’ve been wearing shorts all summer so it was time to make a purchase.
The Major Fail: Leaving me alone for close to an hour and coming out with more than what I needed. I am not to be left alone in a shopping complex. Under any circumstances. At least not for this month.
My weakness? The styling! Have you seen the outfits at Ann Taylor Loft?! The ruffles!! The sweaters!! The sweater dresses!!
I am weak my friends. Weak.
Additionally, this is only the second day. So. In all other regards – as far as budgeting my eating out/drinks etc..I’m doing okay. So one slip up with not mess up my entire month goals. I won’t let it.
I just won’t let it happen again. (Stupid Ann Taylor Loft sales and JCrew sales being all rawr cute and stuff)

oh, don’t be so quick to call yourself a failure!! You managed to contain yourself in a place that makes it extremely difficult to do so (Ann Taylor Loft). so good for you for showing restraint!
It’s only Oct 2….you can save yourself!
Or, blame Magda for leaving you alone
omg I am all over at loft this season. ADORABLE.
At least you were able to stop yourself from the third item. It could always be worse!
I’m making notes here … next time Heidi says, “I’m just popping over to the loft!” my response will be “hoooo there, not without a chaperone, young lady.”
Fall clothes have ALWAYS been my weakness, so I totally feel you on this one!
