Back in March I bought my own wedding gift. I bought a triple strand pearl necklace, pearl earrings and a pearl bracelet. They were on deep discount, and the deal was too good to pass up. Fiance was in the loop, and I knew he was looking for a nice pearl necklace for me (he bought my first single strand back for our first Valentines day together).
Yet, I was struggling with what to get him. I wanted it to be something special and awesome, but the boy? Is seriously way hard to shop for.
Which is when I noticed U2 was playing in Charlottesville only two nights after we see them at Fed-Ex field.
Then my little noggin started cranking.
I looked at the tour schedule.
10/3. Raleigh North Carolina.
I’d never been. He’d never been. Let’s make a weekend of it. Tickets were $30 for tickets, so wham bam thank you ma’am. We paid for two tickets in Raleigh what we paid for ONE ticket at Fed Ex Field.
Now he doesn’t need to be bummed about only seeing them once this tour. Happy wedding Love!
(if anyone has any advice where to stay in Raleigh near Carter Finley Stadium let me know!!)
update: tickets not GA. Tickets are crappy-behind-the-stage seats. Effing crap.
