So today, I went to return a couple things to the Mall. I had a bustierre to return to Nordstrom – having spent $100 on two bras for my wedding gown fitting this past weekend, I decided to return one, as well as a shower gift that happened to be a duplicate gift. Anyhow, I returned that thing for $50…and spent roughly $50 on the stuff below that I designated on wedding stuff. True or not, they were all great steals!
SO I was searching for my LBD for my bachelorette that I might…maybe…be able to take to BlogHer with me. Because who doesn’t like getting dolled up for no reason at all? This gal.
Wellp. I found it. FOUND IT!!!! Eight items in a “six items max” fitting room later, I found. It.
The best part – it was $12.50. It’s fitted in the top, flowy in the middle because despite my hard core 1 hour four times a week work outs….I’m not loving my mid section. I’ve been self conscious about it for a while but this dress fitted perfectly.
But you can’t go in and out of forever 21 with only one item.
So I came out with two more dresses pieces….perfect for blogher…
this top/dress (i could have sworn it was a dress but it showed up as a tunic…it’s super long on me though! I even did the “bend over test!! It pays to be short???)
The other dress i can’t find a picture of – it’s a black and pink color block dress. Pretty cute.
And I got another feather necklace. Decided as of today that now that I have TWO feather necklaces from Forever21…it’s my new thang (you know, when not wearing my signature pearls).
I know, I know, that I don’t NEED to care about what I wear to BlogHer but well, I do. I like looking cute. I like matching. I like dressing…not necessarily up but you know, not down either. I like…being girly. Duh, I live…in pink. Though not pink perse, but girliness. Pink. Pretty. You get my drift.
M’eh. Either way. I got my dress for Bachelorette Madness in Boston. That’s really all that matters to me (and a snazzy black dress from H&M Sunday in Georgetown that might be perfect for a friday night out on the town
