A short post because work has me swamped…
As of tomorrow, it will be 6 months till we’re married!
In two weeks I go to Boston to pick out dresses with the rest of my girls (and my mom!!!), we’ve sent out the Save the Dates, we reserved Capitol Hill Club (the check cleared today! It’s 40% paid for!), I have my dress, my shoes, and we’ve started to pick out vendors. Phew.
Unfortunately for me, the next three weekends are booked (no vendor shopping then!), and Fiancé’s grandmother is not doing too well so a trip to CT might be in the cards sooner rather than later.
Life is just busy. Very very busy.
But today I perused some invitations here and here. The ones I like best?

I’m certain once fiancé and I actually start researching this crap stuff, we’ll decide much quicker. But me alone? I’m incredibly indecisive. About everything. No lie.
Anyhow, back to stabbing myself in the eye with a pen my envelope stuffing. What do you guys think of my invitation possibilities??

I like #2!
i love the second one the best.
i like 2 also… they tie in your shoes
I like #1 and #2.
I also like the second one best. But square ones cost more to mail–I had to pick my second choice to save money when I had my wedding. But if you’re going to cut corners on something, the invitations are it, since people are going to throw them in the trash after they put the date on their calendars.
Those are all so fun, but I’m loving the blue ones the best! They’re gorgeous!
(When I read your posts like this one, I look forward to planning my own wedding some day. There are so many exciting things to go through!)
I am going to go with either 1 or 2.
Love love love option #2!! But really they are all cute. You have great taste as usual!
Two is absolutely gorgeous. You must go with that one.
#2 for sure!
For some reason, wedding invitations excite me. It must be the sliver of creativity I have that appreciates good design.
Have fun picking yours out!
I like #2 the best, but agree with Heidi. The added cost of postage can be a pain, especially with postage going up again in May.
Hope fiance’s gram feels better.
I like #2, very pretty!
I love the second one. The contrast between the white and navy really makes the text pop out. Beautiful!
I love the navy.
Just in case you were wondering
I’m super late on this but Paper Source is AMAZING!!! We’re doing DIY invites and I got all the supplies from there.
Also – I just got up to date on your career change… I would throw all the politics out the window and be a flight attendant if I didn’t have to be away from home so much. I’ve only been in it for 3 months and I’m already tired of it. I’m glad you got out alive.
I like the first ones, but I think they should be navy like your colors!
