Pretty sure I have a problem freaders. A problem called J Crew. I need to be…you know, not spending money. However, Fiance and I have an upcoming event where I need “afternoon wear.” I have a dress I could wear. I think. However, I’m thinking ahead to Gold Cup in May. And Easter Mass. And I require this dress. I’m certain I will buy it before the week is over. This time? I’ll have it delivered to my office. The dress in question?
Freaders, I believe I have fallen in love. I know, I know, I’m a little bit of a JCrew whore. I love like there’s no tomorrow but have you seen the spring catalogue? Have you seen the beautiful outfits? The casual chicness? The put together preppiness with a slight not so preppy edge. It just…I want all of it. Seriously.
Other confessions? I’ve been loving this weather (who hasn’t!?), I got “act like you’re 23 again” intoxicated last night with magda, and Lexi and Magda’s baby sister. By 25 – almost 26 – you’d think that I would have learned to eat dinner before drinking pitcher after pitcher of margaritas. Oh no, no, no. This morning hurt. Real bad. Like, remind me why I can’t sleep till noon bad (I’ve taken TWO naps today – oh my god it was glorious).
Also, I’m getting back on my wedding planning feet. I’m diving head first back into marathon training while I still have three months to go (well…just under three months) because I’ve been sick for about three weeks. Not fun. Tomorrow I’m meeting with a florist, we’re finishing registries tonight (I thought they were done…apparently not), and I’m completing the bridesmaids look soon with the decision (a very important one no less!) on their shoes. I’m letting them pick the style from Aria Dress, but I want the shoes to be uniform, so instead of making them all wear heels, I’m thinking flip flops similar to this style (from JCrew but not Jcrew because no one needs to spend $90 on flip flops).
Ok so they’re not $90. They’re $78 but still. You get my drift. I blogged about some other possibilities over at DC Nearlyweds.
Anyhow, it’s late, I’m going to go read and prepare myself for a 12 mile run tomorrow! Wahoo?
