The newest member of the family.
We initially had wanted the black lab/beagle mix I had mentioned earlier this week…unfortunately she got snatched up before we got there. So we mused and looked around…and found this little girl – a 6 month old shepard mix…maybe (though someone told us they thought she could be a foxhound terrier mix)
Meet…Molly.
So far they seem to be working out pretty well – we got them into the car and Molly kind of snapped at Ellie. We got a bit nervous, considered giving her back because of all of our frustrations, but went out to the kennel that we take Ellie to and watched them play in a side room and they seem to be fine. They play, Ellie’s establishing herself as the “alpha dog” but all in all? We’re pleased.
Molly flops, she’s…not quite house trained, and not quite trained at all. But she knows to sit for treats and she’s learning her name. It’s an adventure.
So Freaders, this is Molly. Molly? Meet my freaders.

Awwwww! My Shepherd mix just turned a year old. He wasn’t our first choice but I’m so glad we got him. He’s such a good dog, but he was also a handful to train and I wanted to ship him off for a few months.
