Totally enjoy your boss being out! Weeks when mine is gone–preferably to non-email-accessible locations, like cruise ships out in the uncharted Pacific (yes this has happened). It’s marvelous.

Theknot.com is a pretty good site, however a word of warning, avoid the message boards, they are very catty places and I was on there from 2004-2006 planning my wedding that never happened. Don’t post your actual wedding details either, girls have been known to cancel peoples reservations and everything. Its really bad…….

Sorry to hear about your dad!

I clicked on your day care place and saw that it is in Alexandria…how do you get your dog there, because you can’t take pets on the metro right? We used to take our dog to daycare a couple times a week, and wish I could find a nice place close to home! Oh, and Frosty Paws are the best invention ever….its like the only treat that distracts our dog long enough so we can enjoy a meal without her begging.

We have the Idiot’s Guide to Being a Groom that we got from a friend who got married two summers ago, might as well keep the hand-me-down process going!If you want it you can give it to your boyfriend and tell him he can’t read it until he proposes…haha.

I’m sorry about your dad! And I hope he gets out of the hospital soon and that your stepmom starts keeping you a bit more in the loop about this stuff.

That wedding magazine is expensive! It’s like a cross between a book and a magazine. I keep looking at it but always decide to buy a regular wedding magazine instead because they are much cheaper.
