I put it in mostly for the memorable aspect of it :) But yeah it was overly dramatic. I agree. @ megan - rachel bilson's characters often annoy the crap out of me. As much as i loved Summer in the OC, I also wanted to slap the shit out of her repeatedly during many episodes. @ Julie – boyfriend and I saw it on our first date so i don’t let the underlying theme really get to me.
