Points of Interest

* Apparently last night they had a Guinness pour off on the hill – Senator Harkin (D-IA) was apparently a superstar…who knew!

* The girl who ruined Governor Spitzer’s life by…well…banging him per his request…apparently had no idea she was banging the governor of New York. OMFG!!!

* My favorite shoes are getting worn on the bottom. I’m upset. I know it’s going to cost bunches to get them fixed so now i need to decide to decide if it’s worth it. Thankfully I got them when I was interning in DC and have gotten a few miles out of them. Aren’t they pretty??

Mmmmm steve maddens. I haven’t found another pair I love as much as these. Well except flip flops. Love me some flip flops. Must get these fixed. Also, if anyone wants to buy a pair of Steve Madden Riding Boots NEVER WORN in size 6.5 email me at heidi [at] legallyheidi [dot] com ! I have a pair for you (i’ve given up hope) and we can work something out :)

* It’s friday! Boyfriend and I are going out to a new restaurant on 8th street tonight, then we’re going to stay in and sip some good wine. We drank two bottles last night but only because we had a Cote du Lorve (i think thats the name) from France with a chicken roast and then a light Moscotto for dessert while watching “No Reservations” which by the way…was crap. If you’ve seen Raising Helen, you’ve practically seen this movie. Catherine Zeta Jones was mediocre and the guy she falls for isn’t even really that cute. M’eh.

*It’s Spring time!! I was going to bust out flip flops today but there’s rain in the forecast so I decided against it. Hopefully by the end of next week I’ll be trudging to and fro the metro (hey it rhymes!) in flip flops though my signature brown ones need to be replaced.

*I still need a dress for Easter. I saw a couple potentials at Dress Barn yesterday over my lunch but we’ll see. Boyfriend and i are going to go shopping tomorrow after my RCIA retreat as I have to return a couple things to Nordstrom that seemed like a good idea at the time but now…not so much. Sooo yeah.

And it’s Friday! And next week is the first day of Spring!! Who’s as stoked as I am??

[edit] also…all updates to the blog are finished (for now) go! Enjoy!

    6.5?! You have tiny feet!

I figured “No Reservations” would be crap. It is actually a remake of the original German version titled, “Mostly Martha”. The German version is really good, if you are into foreign films. Check it out!

    Enjoy your dinner!

and I totally busted out the flip flops this week… everyone at work made fun of me but I don’t really care :-)

I’m so excited for flip flops. I missed the tail end of flip flop season last year with my broken ankle. I plan to wear ‘em up this time around :-) (with better care, of course…)

    Love the green Steve Maddens!

I haven’t had ANY wine this week. Ridiculous. Must be fixed immediately.

i totally agree with you about “no reservations”. i watched it the other night and was like “yawn!”

Love the new colours! Did you have to upgrade to custom CSS to do all the font (colour) changes?

Wish I could help you out w/the boots, but I have insanely small feet. (normally a 5.5 in Steve Maddens!) Your other shoes are cute, I hope you find a way to fix them for cheap…!

your new blog look is fantastic. I really, really like it! And the colors are so cute!

I HATE it when my shoes start wearing out. It happens to all my favorites (probably, um, because I wear them all the freaking time).

Also, I definitely second 1218blog: Mostly Martha was such a cute, cute movie. As long as you can get past the subtitle-thing, it’s fantastic. I boycotted No Reservations because I was pissed they stole the idea (and the German movie is really recent! Like 2003 or something!)

Hope you’re having a marvelous weekend!

Oooh I really love those shoes. I hate when my faves start falling apart. I had a pair of Candies that I loved so much, I ended up going through 4 pairs of them. When they stopped making them, the ex had to find them for me on ebay!

I LOVEE the new blog look!!! So cute.

The entire new blog look is fabulous.

And yes, I am definitely loving the arrival of the weekend. This morning I slept in till 10:30am (SUPER late for me). It was wonderful.
