I am a very ammateur cook, but learning all about cooking has cause me to start trying out some stuff on my own.

Blonde Features Saturday Morning Frittata Recipe: This is the easiest thing to make and can be thrown together with a few eggs and any left over ingredients. The below is what I normally have in my refrigerator.
For 2 people
Put your broiler on to pre-heat. (I go with Low setting).
-Use small amount of Pan on a medium sized skillet
- Chop up:
1/4 Red Pepper (small slices)
3 or 4 Mushrooms (sliced)
2 eggs and maybe one or two egg whites (to be healthy and depending on your appetite)
1 Tofutti Roasted Sausage or Chicken Sausage ( I prefer spicy for my breakfast omelets)
1/4 yellow onion Chopped into small bits

Cook the Sausage first, just till warm inside and then lay on the side,
Then add a little butter for flavor and cook the vegetables till the mushrooms are semi-cooked. Then add the Sausage back to the pan, then add the eggs (that have been mixed together like an omelet or scrambled eggs) and pour over the vegetable/sausages. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let the eggs set, using your spatula to move the cooked eggs off the side of the pan allowing the uncooked eggs to take its place. Once the eggs are no longer runny but before totally cooked sprinkly a little cheese on top, and move the pan to the broiler and let sit for 5 mins, or however long it takes for the cheese to melt and the eggs to get a nice crust on top!

VOILA!! A saturday morning tradition easy as pie!
ENJOY!

I second Emily - foodnetwork and epicurious.com are both good. food network's search function is awesome, you can search for any ingredient you're in the mood for and find a ton of recipes; and it also ranks the recipes as to how hard they are. and I have several good recipes I've tried recently posted on my blog today, you should check them out!

Thanks for the soda bread recipe. I think I'm going to make it this weekend!

Mostly for recipes I look through my Rachael Ray mag (I know many people can't stand her but I've found some great, easy recipes), epicurious, foodnetwork (love Paula Deen!)...etc. I have a ton of cookbooks but find it's easier to search on the web.

Also, Google has a recipe search - you can put in a couple of ingredients and it will let you know of recipes that contain them. I havne't played around with it much yet. http://www.google.com/base/search?a_n0=recipes&scoring=ld&a_y0=9&a_s0=0&a_r=1

OK, you know I love Martha Stewart, so I'm on her site a lot. But also, her magazine Everyday Food is amazing. The recipes are all pretty simple with not too many ingredients. I am a BIG fan.

I also spend ridiculous amounts of time at Epicurious.com.

And am obsessed with Cook's Illustrated and Chris Kimball. The man (and people who work for him) tests a ton of ways to make a dish and then tells us the best.

Your bread looks good! And I was looking for something to do for St. Patty's Day :)

Okay for great recipes... either ask nicole antionette... or

at borders (or any book store, i'm assuming) they have these bargain recipe books for like 4 bucks or so. I have a ton of those in different types... like spicy, mexican, french, 3 ingredients.... I love the stuff in those!

You need to update your blog365 countdown too :-)

I use foodnetwork.com and epicurius.com

Both are great for searching for recipes or for individual ingredients. It also helps to have a couple of great basic cookbooks, i.e. joy of cooking.

That bread looks great! I didn't know you stole from me! I am tickled. :) Have you tried <a href="http://wednesdaychef.typepad.com/the_wednesday_chef/2006/11/jim_laheys_nokn.html" rel="nofollow">No-Knead Bread</a>? It is a bread miracle.

I second the Cooking Light recommendation; everything is online, so don't bother with the magazine subscription. I love to gape at <a href="http://smittenkitchen.com/" rel="nofollow">Smitten Kitchen</a>'s photos, but her ambitious recipes usually intimidate me out of making them. I also swear by the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Americas-Kitchen-Family-Cookbook-Revised/dp/193361501X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1205280371&sr=8-1"America's Test Kitchen cookbook</a>, but it is an investment, i.e., not online and free.

I have heard that Giada di Laurentiis's recipes (Everyday Italian) turn out well, even though I have severe hate for her mouthful of teeth and unnecessary boobage. But I can't vouch for that one.
