Don’t laugh…

by Heidi on March 9, 2008

But so today…

boyfriend and I realized that apparently the two of us are quite inept at home improvement projects.

We got the second door from home depot.

But…we got the 32″ and well…

…after the fiasco the other day with the 36″…we were pretty upset to find that the 32″ is…a bit small.

Like…3″ small. at least.

yeah you heard me…it’s too. mother fucking…small. As opposed to being “too big…”

based on the screw holes (which we may or may not have checked the last time…) we need the 36″ because of where it needs to be placed on the frame. Which…we may or may not have checked the other day.

I feel like an idiot. Seriously.

This is the anti-martha stewart here. The anti-bob villa.

But! I made soda bread! And it turned out good!!! Yay!!!

But please….don’t judge.

You have got to be kidding about the judging. When Torsten and I moved in together we enlisted the help of a neighbor to get his couch into the bedroom (since my couch was already in the living room). We had to take the doors off the hall closet to do it. We scraped half the paint off the door frame in the process. Now we can never move because I don’t think we’ll ever get the couch out again. And also, the closet doors have never been the same.

    So no, no judgment.

I totally relate to this. I feel like I am completely retarded at this whole house thing.
