I feel like my life is like that song…”closing the g*d damned door…” by that band that sounds a lot like fall out boy but isn’t.

The door, we found as we attempted to install it at 10pm. Was heavy and big. And oh yeah…it didn’t fit.

Now if anyone has any experience installing “security doors” please let me know.

Also, we found as we unwrapped it like a shittily wrapped over-sized Christmas gift, did not come with a door handle.  So not only did we spend $90 something on a door that’s too damn big, but also came without a door handle.

This will be noted when we trek to Home Depot AGAIN on Saturday to exchange said door (seriously we’re going to look like idiots returning a door that was too big i can hear the sales person now thinking “what you fuckers don’t know how to use a tape measure?”) But really though! The door…is 36″. The door itself. The space for our REGULAR DOOR and regular door itself…is 36 mother fucking inches. You do the math. I don’t understand either…yes i’m fully aware that there is also a metal frame we need to install but come on now…36″ is 36″. It should fit. If only just barely.

But no. The door is too big. Oh well. To a-Home Depot we shall go.
