i think it’s hard to find someone who does a decent cut for under $50, honestly. i’ll ask around, i used to work at a salon with a guy who lived in DC. maybe he’ll have some suggestions?

Finding a good haircut is so so freakin’ difficult. I’ve submitted to going to the woman across the street from my house, where I pay $20 for a DIFFERENT cut every time (even though I ask for the exact same style).

I hate getting my hair cut for this reason

Plus since my hair is below my shoulders even a trim costs me $50! It’s ridiculous. I’m kind of crazy about my hair though and will pay for it to get done and a nice salon, even if it breaks the bank a bit.

Um I HATE hair cuttery. I got my hair cut there (in maryland) 2 years ago and the lady barely took off an inch. You can come here and get a haircut for 16 bucks… that includes shampoo, cut, style. Sometimes I love living in WV.

Be glad she didn’t dry your hair though, because they charge 7 bucks for that. for real.

Sometimes you pay for what you get – not meaning to sounds snarky at all. When I lived in Alexandria I went to the Sugar House Day Spa and Salon, they did a pretty good job. Jouvence Aveda in Pentagon City is also really good.

If you want to make the trek to Woodbridge, I have the worlds best hair stylist in my opinion. She is one of only 2 that have never messed up my hair. Statements Salon and her name is Jen – she listens to you and even makes suggestions that are actually good. She will not give you a chop job, and honestly does a great blow out.
