I hate you Best Buy

Given that merely four months ago, I dealt with the wrath of Best Buy and their more than incompetent customer service/Geek Squad destroying my hard drive, I am not pleased that my computer is acting dysfunctional.

I don’t know what’s wrong with it, but my harddrive, normally filled with a cute picture of my puppeh, is now the blue background that’s the basic, default desktop image. You can only imagine my surprise this morning when i found Stan shut off, and when i booted him up after my shower to find the blue screen (now the second blue screen of death)

I don’t want to send my laptop out again. I don’t want to deal with best buy again. however…if it can get me $54 million? It might be worth it….

I am cranky. I want a functional computer. with all my files. so I can write. Because i have an editor for Blast, who is up my ass about producing some shit. But to be honest? I can’t handle two jobs. Let alone three. *sigh*

    so sorry. i had computer issues this morning too. actually, mine were iTunes issues. ugh. i hate iTunes.

    This is why I really miss CompUSA – they always fixed my pc’s with no problems. Why did they have to close?

    I hate best buy too.. but you know what I hate more? Comp USA. That place is HELL.

    Ughhh I know what you mean. Except my Best Buy is Circuit City. HATE them with a passion. I have had so many issues that my dad just bought a new comp, cleaned his old one up, and told me I could have it as a “back-up” since I clearly have issues.

    I’m sorry :( I know what it feels like to see the blue screen of death. I hope you can get it fixed and Best Buy stops sucking.

    I know it’s a pain, but you might want setup up an automated weekly clone of your harddrive. So when this happens, the chances of losing information are slim. Mac or PC. I’v had both commit suicide (pc more).

    Good luck with those BB people. You may need to hit a bar on the way home.

    best buy blows! we had a warranty on our old laptop, but ofcourse they thought of a random way not to let us use it when the screen cracked. I actually don’t think that lawsuit is outrageous at all! get in on it :)
