@ LJ – just stared BLBA last night So far so good! Ha! Thats what I told him but he was like “but but” it’s his call i’ll just relentlessly make fun of him.

@ Free – YES! That was great and the fact that they had their wedding in Vegas that was great to me. Love love loved it!

Also, I’ve never watched Lost and I never want to.

Also again, I think you can only give up something you don’t have for Lent if you had active plans to buy it and then you don’t, specifically because of Lent.

I don’t watch Lost. I tivo’ed LJ last night, but have not watched yet.

Have you read the Shopaholic series, by Sophie Kinsella? They are hilarious, and I just read that they are turning the first one into a movie!

For Lent, I am giving up raw cookie dough and goldfish crackers…I eat far too much of both!

Giving up something you don’t own is *totally* cheating – haha. This, of course, coming from someone who doesn’t give up anything for Lent.

So glad you enjoyed Bitter is the New Black! Are you going to read Bright Lights, Big Ass next?!? So funny. Although I think I liked BITNB slightly better. I totally agree with you though — love her tone and that she just is what she is and manages to let that show in her writing. Very cool!

I’m currently reading Bitter is the New Black. I’m almost done! I’ve loved every page of this book. You’re right, her voice is amazing. I love her humor, wit and self-confidence. I love that she wore a black dress to her wedding. I checked out her myspace and website and it’s so awesome that she still talks about the people in the book. It was nice to see the book wasn’t based on fake characters. This is her life.
