So this morning – like every morning as of late – I was in a rush, because as we can remember…I am not a morning person. At all.
So as I threw things from one side of the room to the other looking for sweaters and whatnot….boyfriend listened to me complain about the mess that has become our bedroom.
I get to work and this is what i have in my email…
Puppy..Is helping clean the bedroom.

You know what else makes my day today?
+ Today being the first Wednesday in a month that I haven’t had to work late.
+ Obama-rama may not have won all the primaries but he did well enough that the Dems don’t have a clear candidate
+ Rumor has it Romney may be having “serious discussions” about staying in the race to pull a Reagan circa 1980 in 2012 (he ran in 1976 didn’t get the nomination and then in 1980 came back and was the “i told you so candidate” and won over an incumbent Dem.
+ I’m excited to go to my first Ash Wednesday Mass.
+ I had a great conversation with an old friend last night. It left me with smiles, good memories and wishing I was back up in Boston. It’s also nice to have someone who can relate with my overworking for next to nothing situation I’m in work wise.
+ Good wine for election watching purposes. Awesome.
+ I decided I couldn’t give up my snooze button for Lent. So I’m giving up shopping. I don’t know which is worse. But at least this way I’ll save money and not make myself late for work!
+ The metro was quick. I was on time for work. No major delays/annoyances. That always makes or breaks my morning.
+ Cute puppy. Awesome boyfriend. Need I say more?
+ By not shopping for 40 days, I will save money. The money I will save will go towards something fun. A birthday trip. Or a shopping spree come April. Woo hoo!!!
