Day 2

by Heidi on November 2, 2007

I think NaBloPoMo is going to go easier than NaNoWriMo. I tried start. Had maybe 50 words. And just crapped out. I hated it. I thought i knew where i wanted to go with it but the beginning and plot that i thought out in my head the other night…well i forgot. I didn’t write it down because i had just turned out the light, and so I forgot.

Great.

I’m also sick. Like head is throbbing, a cough coming from deep inside my chest and a sore throat to boot. This can’t be good. I can’t be sick this weekend. I have a rockin’ honky tonkin’ time to have tomorrow night at McFaddens, my first weekend to go out and have fun!!! What gives body, this just ain’t right.

In other news, the marathon photos are up! Yay! There a couple good ones so thats coo’.

Finally, last night was so…icky. I got home stressed beyond belief because work is crazy. So boyfriend met me at the metro with puppy and we go to get Dunkin’s – cause thats what we do – and then take puppy over to the dog park. Within about ten minutes we hear her high pitched yelp and growling and then we just saw a rumble. I don’t know how we missed it but we did. Puppy was in a fight with a dog that’s about 4 years old, a bit bigger than her and a dog that we know doesn’t like puppy because puppy has a ridiculous amount of energy – we were once asked if we feed her “rocket fuel” no, actually we don’t. If only because the half the time she isn’t in the mood to eat. Bah!

She had a few little scrapes but was generally okay. I think the biggest beating was to her ego. She likes to think she’s bigger than she actually is and likes to take other dogs toys away. Nothing serious thankfully, i was worried for our lil pup. But all is okay and both dogs were taken to their respective corners and taken from the park.  Poor pup, she’s gotta learn she can’t roll with the big kids if she can’t share.

Anyhow so after that, we got her home, took care of her bruises by putting some neosporin on them – mainly her ear and behind it. Then we took care of the laundry, kitchen, and bedroom which greatly helped my stress level. It was also pretty nice to have a functional computer to play on for a while to unwind while FINALLY watching the Hills and Real World.

The Hills

It’s ABOUT TIME!!! Come on Brody and Lauren are super cute together – will they just…get it over with already???? And Spencer…seriously…Get. A. Job.

I absolutely adore Whitney and think her visions for the fashion shoot were fabulous :) I don’t like how they portray her as the flaky blond girl.

Am I the only one who would love to be shopping buddies/bff with Lauren? Cause i totally would.

The Real World

Two words…new. roommate.

She looks like she’s going to be a crazzzzzyyyy one.  I still can’t believe Blond w/ Big Boobs #1 went home. Not skunky lookin’ blonde but the other one. Cause they all look alike and i can’t tell them apart. I dunno, this season is kind of boring me. The girls are catty – but what else is new, and the dudes are boring except Dunbar who is CRAAAZZAAAYYY and i think new girl is going to try to get in his pants which is going to be hilllllllarious because he’s all like “i love my girlfriend SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!” So it’ll be funny :) I love entertaining television.

The new season of the Amazing Race starts this sunday which should be good. The past few seasons have been kind of lame. I lost track of it when they did the FAMILY VERSION which was uber lame. *shrug* Maybe i’m too judgmental of my teevee shows.

Finally!!!

Ashlie motivated me with her cute pictures of her crocheting projects to learn to crochet. Mom does it – frequently. Nana does it as well as knit and i almost taught myself how to knit this summer but decided not to. But i think i’m going to go get the Stitch n’ Bitch book because who knows when I’ll be able to get it on the bookmooch.
