I’m going to start…numbering my posts. Minimum 30. I’ll try to keep it under 2-3 posts per day. Sometimes i just like to write. I hope you all – my readers – don’t mind. Now to your regularly schedule blog post…
1. Apparently Ashley Olson is dating Lance Armstrong. Given that I work for a cancer nonprofit that sometimes collaborates with his cancer nonprofit, my office got a kick out of it. At least i did. He always goes for the blonde’s apparently. And now apparently into chicks half his age and anorexic – or was that her sister? I can never tell the two apart.
2. My focus for today is just…blah. I did good this morning getting a shit ton of research done but i’m having a meeting on it tomorrow morning and i didn’t get nearly as far as i needed to and the lady at the florist for our reception next Wednesday still has not returned my call. I can’t wait till later to go burn off some steam at the gym and then destress by cleaning house. Yes cleaning relieves my stress.
3. I still have not watched The Hills. Or Real World. Or ANTM from LAST week (i have to watch it on my computer) Or this week’s Guiding Light. Where is the time going? I feel like it was just barely sunday and now it’s already Thursday at 230pm.
4. I’m looking to buy a dress. But this is the problem with me – I’m always looking for something specific. I want a wrap dress. Long sleeved. But i have no idea where to look. I found a couple cute one’s on Target.com but we need a car to get to Target. Gap has some but i don’t really want to spend $70 on a dress. Mayhaps sometime this weekend – when I’m not working or relaxing or…jumping back on the boozewagon. And by that i mean celebrating properly with a few of my nearest and dearest with mechanical bull action, free happy hour, and lots of drinking. Only because this is the first weekend in five months that I won’t feel bad about drinking heavily, and not getting up to run more miles than i had ever run before in the heat and humidity that has enveloped DC for the past six months. Woo!!! I digress,wrap dress. Any suggestions from my fabulous readers???
