26.2 or bust….and this was the result!

 

Finished. 7:00:00

 The weather was a bit colder than i expected so there were times during the race where i wished i had a long sleeve shirt. I didn’t really start walking till about mile 14..after that i struggled more and more. My knees are killing me. My ankles hurt. My feet were throbbing – they’re still swollen. But….i finished. The last 8 miles were the worst. Lance Armstrong said i ran 35.3 miles. Unfortunately he said i was done with my marathon on my nike + at like…mile 20 and i was like WHAT THE HELL!!!! i tried convincing myself that they had the miles marked longer. I know thats ridiculous buuutt whatever.

 

I FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Anyhow, i need to eat. I need to bathe. I need to ice. But i finished. Now to rest :)
