So I haven’t posted up my reviews of my weekly television shows (Real World, Gossip Girl and ANTM) because i’ve only watched one and the other two (along with this weeks Guiding Light) are patiently waiting on the TiVo waiting to be watched. Which i would have done last night, had i not gotten home at almost 9pm (and last night was supposed to be my early night home!) Instead boyfriend and I sat down with some chinese and West Wing Season Six Disc 5 (maybe 4?) thanks to Netflix. However, reading my google reader (love love love) i came across this gem of a story thanks to gawker:

Victoria – the love to hate her Yalie that made was the third (i think third?) to get knocked out of the running to become America’s Next Top Model. The interview is very interesting, I always get a kick out of finding out how reality television actually works – like how The Hills isn’t really the hills at all and “DON’T WALK HOME BY YOURSELF PARISSA BLAH BLAH YOU’RE TOO DRUNK”I just want to yell at these cookie cutter ho-bags that MTV put on this season who all have bad dye jobs (come on if you’re going to have blond hair and you’re a natural brunette at least pay to have your eyebrows dyed too) and fake boobs that HELLO YOU’RE ON REALITY TEEVEE I’M PRETTY SURE THERE’S ABOUT FIVE CAMERA GUYS FOLLOWING YOU AROUND!!!! I mean seriously…viewers aren’t stupid, reality tv has been the “fad” or should i say the norm for as long as i can remember. I’ve been watching real world since about 7th grade- Miami, Seattle, and Boston were my three favorites. It started to go downhill with Las Vegas, and even more so when they started doing those cheesy battle of the sexes and good guys v. bad asses. I’m just as guilty as the next of watching them but only out of habit.
But i will indulge all my lovely readers in my thoughts on Gossip Girl. I love it. Not gonna lie. I love it. I’m still waiting for Book 2 and might just might purchase it on my own if need be. Blake Lively is a goddess and Leighton Meester is amazing as Blair. I really love Jenny on the show – her character is so feisty. I don’t like how these kids are supposed to be 14-17 year olds. I mean really? But then again, I’ve never lived on the Upper East Side in New York City with parents who were never around and made boat loads of cash that they just threw my way. I’m sooo excited that this show got picked up for the entire season, though i’m curious just how long it’s going to last but with a…what 11 book series now? It could last a while or so I hope. Did I mention Ed Westwick is a freaking hottie? Mmmmm bite me off a piece of that. Even though his character in real life would make me want to throw things if only because his entitlement attitude reminds me of a great many people i went to college with and/or dated in the past. But still…i haven’t had a celebrity crush since ohhhh Ben Folds (who is and will always be my first rocker lover) so it’s nice to feel excited because I FINALLY HAVE A CELEB CRUSH AGAIN!!! 
The best part? He’s british!!!!!!!!I want to move to London *sigh*
