I had this great post written about friendships and this article in the post but i saved it. I don’t know why, but i put it up on my livejournal rather than here. *shrug* I guess i still use that as a more personal blog even though that too is for the most part pretty open. Whatever. I’ll use this to post about my latest dilemna.
A few weeks ago, just before we started leaving the pup out of her crate during the day after she escaped for the THIRD time, she got out. She crapped in my bag. This was probably the third time she pooped in the house – the first being when she was super sick and had bad bad diarrhea. But regardless, she pooped and got it all in my bag. My beloved Isaac Mizarahi bag that i got when i interned down here in DC. it was big, it was versatile, and now it’s dead. It got thrown out after sitting in the stoop for a few days – boyfriend made me because the stench was just horrible and there was no cleaning this beloved bag.
So although i have a black herve chapelier and a tan longchamp bag, i need a new one. The tan one isn’t big enough to hold my book, my planner, my lunch and a couple cans of Dr.P comfortably without me worrying if my beloved Longchamp is going to break because i carry too much crap.
Unfortunately, i haven’t had much time to go bag shopping. I popped into Old navy to look for this looker but didn’t see it and i was in a rush…
Now it looks like it might work…$22.50 and in a few different colors. But i can’t really buy bags online because i have to try them on to make sure they feel okay and to make sure they’re not TOO big. Since it wasn’t in the store looks like i’m SOL.
But then there’s also this one which also was not in the store – i went into NY & Company to check it out…
But again…need to try it on. Wasn’t there. Gah. Any suggestions? Thats the style i’m looking for? Anyone know where else i should look for a cheap solution (trying to not spend more than $30 here. the last one was $24)?
Back to work = i need to run to CVS and the post office…so i’ll do that now.
