Why settle for second best? I mean clearly, the Yanks have the best record in the AL since May 30 – even better than the Socks. So why…why after a 7-2 lead in the 5th v. the second to last team in the AL East – a team that’s legitimately 15 games back…would the Yankees have a problem closing this down?

Boyfriend and I ended up staying in tonight, but we ordered our favorite chinese, and watched the big fuck up by the yankees.
Funny that a friend of mine asked if i saw their “choke” the other night after losing 7-6 in the 10th to Tampa Bay. Now i know that Tampa is last in the AL East…but well…i wouldn’t call that a choke…maybe. Unless you know they had a 7-2 lead half way through the game. Fucking…rawr.
Now i’m cranky. Cranky pants mcgee. For now, I’m going to watch todays episode of Guiding Light, and read more. Just cause. *rage* Fucking…god damned orioles.
